Description

This attraction has now closed

Leon Spilliaert’s unique, dramatic artistic style was inspired by cultural figures such as Edgar Allan Poe and Friedrich Nietzsche. He is best known for his enigmatic self-portraits and atmospheric night-time scenes of Ostend: his home-town. This is the first monographic exhibition of Spilliaert’s work in the UK and will showcase some 90 works on paper.
